Program description and what is included

The English course at the school has 15 hours or 20 lessons per week. Lessons take place in the morning hours. Online prior to arrival, children take an English level test to place them in classes of up to 15 students. You may take the Trinity Exam if you wish. All levels are available.

Description

PLUS Language Centre runs a summer programme at Loughborough University, Leicestershire. Direct trains take you to Leicester, Nottingham or London in an hour. The teaching staff and sports facilities are first class. Loughborough University has one of the biggest campuses in the country with cafes, restaurants and an Olympic swimming pool. The school of business, economics and information management are regarded as the university's strongest areas of study.

Students have at their disposal an Olympic-sized swimming pool, sports centre, large walking garden, and classrooms. You can walk to the centre of town in 15 minutes, or to Derber and Sherwood Forest. Sports options include football, tennis, basketball and volleyball. There are also dance workshops led by professionals. PLUS also offers a management course, for an extra fee, which teaches teamwork and the subtleties of a successful CV, and an IELTS preparation course. In the evenings you can watch movies in the original language and enjoy a disco party. A special dinner is served at the trendy theme restaurant Planet Hollywood. Excursions include trips to London and York. 

All life and learning takes place on the same ground. Children are accommodated in the residence in single rooms with private facilities. Maid service is provided once a week and meals are served three times a day. Lunch packs are provided on excursions.
