Program description and what is included

The school offers children a 15-hour English course per week. They are taught in groups of up to 18 students and are divided by language level. Lessons in the morning and afternoon in technically equipped classrooms. The teaching material is authentic and has been compiled by Oxford International staff. The programme focuses on the development of fluent communicative competence. Teachers focus on the context - it's not just about learning a new word, but putting it into practice in collocations and conversational situations. In groups children work on projects on topics of cultural studies, numeracy, work skills and creativity. At the end of the programme kids are awarded certificates. All levels are available.

Description

Oxford International School of English runs a summer camp for students at Royal Holloway University of London. The university college occupies a hundred acres of parkland in the south of England. It educates future economists, philologists, engineers and psychologists. It was originally the first educational institution for women. Now it is a top British university. It's a 30-40 minute drive from London.

In a fortnight you will have the time to explore the centre of Brighton, Oxford and London, watch the sunset cruise and visit the royal residence of Windsor Castle. The University has the best sports campus at the University of London. Classes are held in the original building constructed in 1881. There is a gym, games areas and table tennis tables. In the evening you can enjoy a movie, do puzzles, take part in competitions and experience different cultures. 

Students live in the residence one at a time. The residential unit is located next to the canteen and a few metres from the classrooms. The room has a bed, a study table, a wardrobe and a bathroom. The view from the windows overlooks the Royal University building and the sports grounds. The university dining hall is preserved from the 19th century and serves a hot dinner, lunch and breakfast for students. On trips kids get lunch to go. A shop and Starbucks are open near the centre.
