Description
Bath and Bath Spa University
The city of Bath, a World Heritage Site, is one of the jewels of England. The compact city centre which is surrounded by seven hills like Rome, developed around its hot spring water. It is a fascinating blend of Roman, medieval and Georgian architecture, combined with a thriving shopping centre and excellent leisure facilities.
The city has a great many things to see and do, such as museums, parks, the Thermae Bath Spa, cinemas and theatres. It is also near to many places of interest, such as Oxford, Bristol and Stonehenge nearby. The city has a great selection of shops as well as plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes to suit all budgets.
Our course takes place at Bath Spa University, a spacious campus just four miles outside Bath. Period and modern buildings blend together against a beautiful backdrop of fields, lake and woodlands, designed by well-known architect Capability Brown in the 18th century..
Modern facilities include state-of-the art classrooms, ICT suites, and both indoor and outdoor spaces for drama, art and music, as well as sports fields. There are plenty of green areas, perfect for sitting with friends, studying in the sun, or admiring the view.
Accommodation
Residential Accommodation
Residential accommodation is in purpose-build blocks, conveniently located close to the main study area. All rooms are single. Some are en-suite and some share bathroom facilities. All accommodation has communal kitchens and common rooms, and secure entry.
Homestay Accommodation
Elac hosts are chosen with great care by our Homestay co-ordinator, who visits every host initially, takes references and inspects the accommodation provided. She then visits them again every two years. Hosts must also comply with British Council standards, including having a current DBS Certificate (a police check confirming their suitability to host under 18s).
Our hosts provide a warm welcoming atmosphere for our students where they can really feel at home. Students can expect a comfortable bedroom with somewhere to study and shared bathroom facilities. Some students will sleep in bunk beds.
Students staying with local hosts are provided with bus passes and travel to and from Bath Spa University on local buses, or private buses provided by Elac.
Catering
Catering (Residential Students)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are taken at the University restaurant, a spacious building in the heart of the campus. Hot and cold options are available, as well as vegetarian dishes and a salad bar.

FAQ
How can I book a trip?
1. Select a program.
2. Select the dates and group size. We recommend booking conservatively: it's not usually difficult to expand a booking but if you narrow it, then each student will have an increase in the price of the trip.
- The minimum group size is 5 children
- The group leader travels for free
- The larger the group, the cheaper everyone's trip
3. Check that you have marked the transfer, visa, insurance.
4. Select at once additional excursions that you would like to visit for the whole group.
5. Write to us in Whatsapp
What happens after pressing the button "Book a trip"?

2. You send the link to the tour page to your parents.
3. Parents register their children, make an advance payment through their personal account and upload the necessary documents.
The reservation is held for two weeks without any obligation on your part. During this time, at least one student of your group must be prepaid or the booking will be canceled automatically.

Hurry up: prices are rising!
The prices shown to you on the platform are valid only at the time of calculation and may increase at any time before booking. Prices rise as the number of seats on the program, flight decreases and the start date approaches.
Recommended: Make a reservation for the whole group as early as possible (lowest price 8 months before the departure) and have the first student prepay 20% within 2 weeks. Then the price in the currency of the country of study will be fixed for the entire group, regardless of when they join your group.
Is the flight ticket included in the price?
Yes. It is included.
