The ancient Russian city of Torzhok, picturesquely stretched out on the hilly banks of the Tvertsa River. Torzhok is undoubtedly the oldest (over 1000 years old) and most beautiful city in the Tver land. The charm of Torzhok lies in the picturesque landscape, in the harmony and integrity of its architectural appearance.
