Brooke House is an independent, co-educational boarding college in the small, historic town of Market Harborough. It specialises in preparing students from all over the world (54 nationalities as of January 2020) for entry to university in UK. The College is an hour by train from London. There is a maximum of twelve students in a class and an overall college capacity for 275 students. A wide range of A-levels are offered over two-year and five-term courses. One year and two year GCSE courses are provided in up to eight subjects. The college offers a one-year University Foundation Course and a one year Intensive English Language Course. EFL provision is included in the fees for those students for whom English is not the first language. The Brooke House College Football Academy, opened in 2008, caters for 140 excellent footballers from around the world. FA students train every afternoon and fulfil an academic timetable in the mornings. Students take part in competitive fixtures every week and the best are sent to train with professional English clubs. Brooke House also runs a British Council Accredited summer school for 10 to 17 year olds in July and August.
