5 day’s packed with animal encounters and wonderful wildlife, visit Woburn with over 1,000 wild animals including lions, tigers and bears. SAFARI EXPERIENCE

ENGLISH CLASSES

12 hours of English lessons

Students are given an English language test on arrival and placed in English classes according to their language level. Average number of students per class is 15. Our teachers are all fully qualified. Many of our teachers have worked regularly on our past programmes. They work with great enthusiasm and energy to make their classes vibrant and enjoyable. Emphasis on spoken English and listening skills, including work on essential grammar and vocabulary. We aim to make students effective and confident in their everyday communication. All course materials are supplied.

 

WOBURN SAFARI PARK WEEK: Five days in the heart of the Woburn Safari park and its animals. Students will learn to become familiar with wild animals through workshops led in English by park officials. This will involve observing and discovering the different species, preparing their meals, meeting the keepers, raising awareness of the protection of species and the environment (mammals, birds, reptiles).

 

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS

CAYTHORPE COURT:

Large choice of activities: Abseiling - Aeroball - Archery - Climbing - Fencing - Giant Swing - High Ropes - Jacob’s Ladder - Orienteering - Team solving of puzzles and problems - Raft Construction - Natural Trails - Survival exercises in nature - Team Challenge - Trapeze - Vertical challenge - Zipline - Laser game - Archery Tag.

One Full Day Excursion during the 4 days of the programme to discover the region.

Every evening our teams offer an entertainment programme made up of games, quizzes, movie night, talent show, treasure hunt, campfire, disco etc.

PLEASE NOTE: This stay can begin with the week at the Woburn Safari Park or at Caythorpe Court.

Students are supervised by our highly experienced team of English leaders, instructors and youth leaders working under the direction of our Centre Director.
