Description

The University of Hertfordshire is a small campus in picturesque green Hatfield. It is a suburb 20 minutes from London in traditional English style with Romanesque architecture and gardens. The university is famous for its technical degrees and its creative school. In summer the English Language Centre of Bayswater Education runs an English Language Camp here.

The course includes English lessons with native speakers, sports and excursions. There is a swimming pool, outdoor play areas and a sports centre. There is also a cafeteria, ATM and bookseller's shop. In their spare time students enjoy a stroll through central London, street theatre, the arts in Covent Garden or explore the small, vibrant St Albans area. Hatfield House, the aristocratic home of the Earls and Marquesses of Salisbury and Britain's oldest gardens, opens its doors to them. Students will spend the weekend in Cambridge. The campus location is very convenient - Cambridge and Oxford are only an hour away.

Children are accommodated in the residence in single rooms with private facilities. Rooms are cleaned once a week and an on-site launderette is available. Meals are provided three times a day. You can get a packed lunch during the weekend excursions.
